Tulle Christmas Wreath - It's so FLUFFY!!!

**Link party can be found below!**

Gosh, I just Love Christmas time! I must say that I am a little sad this year though. Since the hubby and I are buying our first home, there is really no point to drag out every last Christmas decoration just to pack it up again in a few weeks. But, I did decide to pull out a few things and make a new Christmas wreath! I just couldn't wait another whole year to decorate!

My Christmas Tulle Wreath!
Want to make your own? It's easy!

Materials
1. Green small foam floral wreath
2. Green, red & white tulle - 1 and 1/2 yards each
3. Gold ribbon
4. Christmas wreath picks
5. Christmas ornament
6. Hot glue

  • To start your Christmas tulle wreath, you will need to cut your tulle into strips. Have someone help you by holding the tulle, it makes it way easier to cut! Double the tulle and cut into long strips.
  • Cut each strip four more times so that you will have four equal strips. Each tulle tie is four tulle strips stacked and then tied around the foam wreath.
  • Create your own pattern and begin to tie your tulle strips until you complete the wreath. I added in gold ribbon for some texture and pops of gold.
  • Once you have used all of your tulle, add on your Christmas picks by hot gluing them to the tulle. I found mine in the Christmas isle at Hobby Lobby, your options are endless!
  • When you are satisfied with your pick placement, glue on your ornament. I also found this at Hobby Lobby, love that store! If you find it difficult to glue your ornament to the picks, wrap a left over piece of tulle around the picks (where you are going to glue the ornament), tie it on the back side of the wreath and then glue the ornament to the tulle. I found this to be the best way to get the ornament to stay!

Pretty easy right? I will admit that it is very time consuming, but so worth it! Here are a few more shots of my finished product. Enjoy!

Mushroom & Goat Cheese Pizza

I'm a sucker for anything involving cheese, especially Goat Cheese! I just love the tangy and creamy combination. I created this recipe based on the Mushroom and Goat Cheese Pizza that I always order at The Grand Luxe Cafe which is one of my husband's favorite restaurants. This was my first attempt just going off of what I thought would taste good and it turned out awesome!!

For this recipe here is what you'll need:
1. Pizza crust - I used pre-made Pillsbury
2. Shredded Mozzarella cheese
3. Goat cheese
4. Mushrooms
5. Alfredo sauce
6. Butter
7. Garlic powder
8. Salt
9. Cooking spray

Step 1:
Spray your cooking pan and roll out your pizza dough. I also added salt to the top of the dough before I spread on the pizza sauce.
Step 2:
Spread on your Alfredo pizza sauce, as much or as little as you'd like.
Step 3:
Sprinkle on your cheese and diced mushrooms.
Step 4:
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees and bake for six minutes. Remove the pizza and dollop on some Goat Cheese. Place the pizza back in the oven for another six minutes.
Step 5:
Remove your pizza after the six minutes are up and brush on a mixture of melted butter and garlic. Make the butter/garlic mixture to your liking depending on how much garlic you prefer. Place the pizza back into the oven for another minute and a half.
Step 6:
Cut your pizza, pour a glass of white wine and enjoy!

Cupcake Christmas Ornaments

It's is my absolute favorite time of the year! Time to dust off your jingle bells, pour yourself some peppermint hot coco and make something for Christmas! I always loved making Christmas ornaments as a kid, and well, I still do! I love putting up the tree with my family and looking back at all of the ornaments I made as a kid. So many wonderful memories. I can't wait to make more of those memories with my kids someday! Every so often I like to switch up Christmas tree themes and this year I want a sweets tree decked out in candies and cupcakes! To start off the new theme I've created these cute little pink iced cupcakes. I think they turned out cute, what do you think? Want to make some of your own? Keep reading!

Cupcake Supplies:
1. Plastic ornaments (I used white)
2. Glitter!
3. Cupcake liners
4. Mod Podge
5. Hot glue
6. Red sparkle balls (Christmas section of Hobby Lobby)

Step 1
Remove the ornament hanger

Step 2
Hot glue your ornament into the cupcake liner, top side down

Step 3
Hot glue all around so that the liner is secure

Step 4
Create a Mod Podge/glitter mixture and paint onto your ornament

Step 5
Sprinkle on some dry glitter and tap off any excess

Step 6
Insert your ornament hanger into your "cherry" (Styrofoam works best)

Step 7
Allow your ornament to fully dry and then hot glue on your "cherry"
You're done!

These are really fun and easy to make! They would be a great craft for kids as well. Just remember, parents handle the hot glue, we don't want to burn the kiddos! Here are a few shots of my finished cupcakes, enjoy!

Features, Link Party & Snowmen Pops!

We have a lot going on today! Features, a link party & a recipe, yay! Before I announce the features from last weeks link party check out my Snowmen Pops! Aren't they cute?! Cute, yummy and easy to make you can't go wrong with these little guys! I got this sweet little from Pinterest found HERE.
Want to make your own for the holidays?
Here is what you'll need:
1. Oreos
2. Candy corns
3. Mini chocolate chips
4. White melting chocolates
5. Shish kabob sticks
6. Wax paper

Start by inserting you shish kabob sticks in the middle of your Oreo. Next, melt your white melting chocolates in the microwave or double boiler. I made my own double boiler since I don't own one. Once the chocolates have melted dip in your Oreos giving them an even coat. Place your coated Oreos on wax paper and arrange you mini chocolate chips and candy corns. Place your snowmen in the fridge until the chocolate is set. Ta-da! Easy huh?
I dare you to eat just one!
