What's Cookin' Sunday - Link Party {No.1}

Part of the secret of success in life is to eat what you like and let the food fight it out inside.
~Mark Twain

I love food....obvious, I know!

It was a lazy day by the pool but I still managed to throw together a meal

{ Busy Day Pork Chops }

  • 1/4 cup fat-free milk
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 boneless pork loin chops (4 ounces each)
  • Cooking spray

Place milk in a shallow bowl. In another shallow bowl, combine the cheese, bread crumbs, salt, garlic powder and pepper. Dip pork chops in milk, then coat with crumb mixture.
Place on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray; spritz chops with cooking spray. Bake at 375° for 9-11 minutes on each side or until a meat thermometer reads 160°. Yield: 4 servings.
I've been laying off bread but decided to be { bad } today! These Cheddar Cheese Biscuits are super simple and so yummy!

{ Cheddar Cheese Biscuits }

3 Cups Original Bisquick mix
1 Cup milk
1 Cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 melted butter
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Heat oven to 350 degree. Drop biscuit batter onto a cooking pan ( I like to use baking mats to keep the bottoms from burning ) each about a inch apart. Bake for 11-13 minutes or until slightly golden brown on top. While cooling brush with melted butter.

Okay....I was extra { Bad }

Start by baking you favorite cookie { Store bought works too }
Add a few scoops of Vanilla ice cream { or your favorite flavor }
Top it off with Chocolate syrup { Caramel would be yummy too }
Time to dig in!
Oh, and don't let your puppies steal any!
